â€Å"Interstellar† is the name of a movie that relates to this environmental course. Interstellar is defined as â€Å"space between stars within a galaxy† (collinsdictionary.com). The idea of this movie was to see where in this world are humans able to survive. There were a few main characters in which the movie had. There was the main character name Cooper, whom did all of the exploring in the movie. Coopers daughter Murphy, Professor Brand, Brands daughter, Mann, and Romilly. These names might make no sense now but they each played a role in finding out this mystery of where can be survivable. This movie was approximately three hours long and within each minute it was worth watching. There was a code that was given from this anomaly that led Cooper and Murphy to then find a secret location. It was very sudd en how this happened. This secret location is where NASA was located. NASA is an agency that is in charge of doing research. This is where Professor Brand was and the other main characters were located. They said that they are the ones that lead Cooper to this place because he has special talents to help and save this world. Professor Brand is the one who has a master plan of saving the world. Brands plan was to find another planet that had life sustainable for the human population. Cooper was now sent on this mission with Professor’s Brand daughter. The journey began on a space ship. This ship was sent out to space to find life. There were many obstacles on the way where there was another scientist name Mann found. He was an enemy in this movie. I felt that this was a comparison to mankind and how we are what affect this earth. Later on, at the ending the mystery was solved. Murphy was the answer to everything. She teamed up with Professor Brand and continued where he had left off. The communication in this movie was one sided. Cooper can see what the ones on Earth were saying but he could not communicate back. The communication is what allowed the mystery to conclude that it was murphy that knew what was going on. These are the thoughts that came to my head as I gazed at two works of art by two Mexican artists at MoLAA museum of art . I visited two museums, Bowers Museum of cultural Art in the heart of Southern California and the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach for my report unfortunately I only liked the works in MoLAA and will talk about it through out my paper. I will talk about two Mexican artists Rafael Cauduro and David Alfaro Siqueros that caught my eye, and made me want to learn more of them and their approach to art. Siqueiros caught my eye and interest because according to his biography no individual associated with the arts with the possible exception of Andr? Â © Malraux, had been involved in direct political action more than David Alfaro Siqueiros (Siqueiros Biography online). Personally that to me said a lot and that got me intrigued, and made me want to know more about him and his work. Cauduro on the other hand got me intrigued through his illusionistic approach to art and interpretation of his view of things. Eve thought they seem like different approach to art they are both similar in different ways. My first artist is Rafael Cauduro. Rafael Cauduro was born in capital city of Mexico and now resides in the city of Cuernavaca (state of Morelos) 1950. Rafael started out making superior studies of architecture and industrial design in the Latin American University in Mexico City. According to his biography Cauduro is a self taught painter who steps outside of traditional artists standard. Cauduros paintings contain a trompe de loeil (Fool the eye) quality as indicated in by how in his paintings walls, fences, and objects are so real that people can almost touch them. To the visual realism of Cauduros work, according to critic Ruiz Soto, adds what he termed critical illusion which combines an extreme technical proficiency with fantasy-filled concepts(www. rafael cauduro. com). Rafael Cauduro painting technique is of a surrealism in which the reality of dreams, or subconscious mind are as more real than the surface reality of everyday life (Sayre p. 51). Cauduro paints in a Surrealistic way usually portraying the forces of dreams and subconscious that he has been famous for. This artistic movement originated in Europe in the early part of the 20th century and had a great impact on contemporary Mexican Art (www. rafaelcauduro. comm). Cauduro paints supernatural scenarios with realism akin to 17th century masters like Dutch artists Rembrandt van Rijin (Painting information Cauduro). The piece I choose to critic is titled Buscado por su madre or Wanted by his Mother by Rafael Cauduro, no year. This piece is an Oil on Canvas painting that measured 48x36 located at the Long Beaches MoLAA. The work is presented as one of a few Mexican artists that share an interest in their painting primarily figurative style, political in nature, that often narrated the history of Mexico or the indigenous culture. The painting is one of the first viewers see as they enter the Museum. It is at eye level and demonstrates a superb use of illusionistic realism that it creates the illusion of being real. The painting is of a old Missing poster of a man on a brick wall. What made it stand out in my eyes was the fact that it looked to be a three dimensional object on what looked like real bricks with the words wanted by mother on the top. Bill Gates Bill Gates is the Antichrist Ever since Microsoft was founded, Bill Gates has gained power over the people of the world by winning a monopoly in the computer-software industry. From the assistance Microsoft gave in the development of the personal computer, to the virtual monopoly that Windows 95 now has on most computers all over the world; Microsoft has controlled a major portion of the computer industry. In his repeated conquests over his competitors, Gates has left an increasingly obvious amount of evidence that proves that he is the fourth and final antichrist. Most of this evidence comes from Gates' computer products and is referred to in Revelations. This evidence may have been left on purpose, or was a careless mistake by the founder of Microsoft. Like the other men who have been considered antichrists, Gates has attempted to rule the world. The only difference between Gates and his predecessors is that he is trying to rule the world through computers, not through military for ce. ASCII(American Standard Code for Information Interchange) code is a system of keeping track of letters, numbers and characters on a computer. When Bill Gates and IBM decided to use ASCII code in the IBM Personal Computer, many people didn't know what computers were, or care what ASCII code was. Many people who did know what ASCII code was didn't think that Bill Gates was evil. Today, now that more people use computers regularly, Bill Gates' evil secrets have been revealed to the public through the Internet and anti-Microsoft activists. "Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man : His number is 666." (Revelation 13:18) Bill Gates' full name is William Henry Gates III. If the ASCII codes of the letters in "BILLGATES" are added, plus three for the "III" in his name, then the sum is 666 (antichrist.txt).
